Working out during quarantine

Hey do you ever say your going to work out but never get round to do it? or do you ever think , ‘it’s fine I’ll do it later’ yet you still never get round to doing it ? or perhaps you finallllly get round to it ,but then put it off again for a good couple of weeks ? WELL!!! here are a few tips and tricks to keep you up on your feet šŸ™‚

Believe me I know it’s hard to stay active during times like these , we’re all stuck at home so most of us are taking this time to just kick back and relax. I mean no school what could be better right? but unfortunately if we don’t stay active we will start to lose our muscle and strength, and during this pandemic , it’s important to stay healthy and strong . But luckily for you I’ve learnt some tips and tricks which have helped me during quarantine.

WORKOUT APP.okay so, this workout app is one of the best thing I’ve used , and good news it’s FREE , like what could be better . This app has it all , workouts ranging from fat loss, abs ,cardio , legs, butt and even yoga!!! when you open the app your even welcomed by a motivational quote , which changes daily . The app even comes with daily challenges and programs you can sign up to which last a few weeks . It also tracks your progress and tells you how many calories you’ve burnt. And if your like me and have trouble organising when to workout , you can set reminders. Also if your a beginner to workouts don’t worry ! there’s workouts that go from beginner to advanced , and the app even shows you videos if you aren’t sure how to do a certain exercise.

HOW TO STAY MOTIVATED TO WORKOUT

  • DON’T stop working out for a long period of time, If you do your going to lose all the progress you’ve made so make sure you stick to a routine , for example aim to workout three times a week . when you allow yourself to miss a day or that whole week it becomes a viable option, and that’s what leads it to become a habit of hardly ever working out!!
  • Just because the scales show you haven’t lost weight doesn’t mean you aren’t making progress, infact you could be just be losing fat yet gaining more muscle
  • Don’t give up it will all be worth it !!!!!!
  • Be realistic with yourself . your not gonna be fit overnight . THESE THINGS TAKE TIME SO BE PATIENT šŸ˜‰
  • Keep going , even when your feeling lazy tell yourself it will be worth it in the end, and remember to trust the process
  • Also if your struggling with having a slow metabolism , try drinking green tea because it helps boost it , along with plenty of water
  • DON’T over do it . Your body needs rest days too to recover !! but don’t make this an excuse to be lazy
