Hey guys!! I’ve always wanted to do a blog post that was book related, but i wasn’t sure what to do it about, but I finally decided to do one on the books I hope to read 🙂 please do let me know in the comments if you have any recommendations or if you’ve read any of these. But without further or do let’s get started.
BOOKS THAT HAVE BECOME MOVIE ADAPTATIONS:
- The Shadow hunter Chronicles by Classandra Clare ( I love the shadow hunters series, and watched both the series and the movie, so I truly can’t wait to read the books, Vivian has already read it and has given me some good reviews on the author )
- The Divergent Series by Veronica Roth ( Once again, I truly loved the movie adaptation of this book, and some of my friends also recommended the trilogy series, so I can’t wait)
- The Hate You Give by Angie Thomas (the movie adaptation was so empowering so I can only imagine the book is even better. Especially with what is going on with the BLM movement, this book would definitely be good to read)
CLASSIC LITERATURE
- Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte (after reading the after series by Anna Todd , there was a-lot of mention of this book so I was immediately curious as to what it was about, and I’ve personally always loved classic literature)
- Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (another great example of classic literature, and I’ve always wanted to read this book so I was ecstatic when I found a free version on this app called wattpad)
- Great expectations by Charles Dickens (I’ve heard good things about this book and I’ve longed to read one of Charles Dickens novels)
POETRY
- Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur ( Usually I’m not one for poetry and I hated it in school, but this book has gotten so many good reviews I thought that I may as-well give it a try. I’ve already purchased this book so hopefully I can start reading it soon 🙂 )
