I hope you all have had a great week. How are you? What have you been doing?
I thought to do a fun post this week because this year, one of my close friends got me into Kpop and hehehe, I’m here to transfer my knowledge to all of you. I’m still discovering new groups and obsessing over every group because their dancing, singing are top notch. I don’t think anything can beat Kpop idols, but be sure to enlighten me in the comments down below 😉
The first song that got me into Kpop was Thunderous by StrayKids.
I’ve made a playlist on Spotify with all of my favourite songs, and now I will tell you my favourite groups.

My ultimate favourite group is of course… StrayKids hehehehe.
My bias is Hyunjin and I think everyone knows that. He beats all of the other people I have fangirled over hehehe. He is just superior in every way, his dancing, his singing and rapping and ahhhh don’t even get me started on his visuals. I have so many photos of him hehehe
Some other boy groups to check out:
- ATEEZ – listen to Deja Vu, it’s one of their best songs. They have such a cool concept!! I love them so much!! They’re all so hot!!
- Enhypen – new group, their youngest member was 15 when he debuted (NI-KI). Fever, Drunk-Dazed, Blessed-Cursed, and Polaroid Love are their top songs. They’re so cuteee and their songs are so catchy.
- TXT (Tomorrow x Together) – DEFINITELY LISTEN TO LOSER LOVER!!! It was the third ever Kpop group I’ve ever listened to and ahhhh Yeonjunnnnn!!!
- Exo – a classic group in the Kpop industry – have such great songs like Call me Baby, The Eve, Love Shot!!! One of their members, Kai, has a song called Mmmh and Peaches and it’s so good ahhhhh!!! Does Viv fangirl over the songs?? YESSSSS
- NCT – Everyone loves this group. They have a few subgroups, I love their dancing, but I wouldn’t choose to listen to their music with just the audio, it’s not my type of music but they’re so good when you watch their performance videos!!!
- DAY6 – Definitely listen to ZOMBIE!! It’s such a good song and hehehe StrayKids did a cover of it 🙂
- WayV – a subgroup of NCT and their really famous song is LoveTalk!! They’re soooo cool hehehe. The song is so catchyyyy!!
- SuperM – a boy group which is made up of the best idols within the SM Entertainment company.
- P1Harmony – my sister loves this group!! I love their music!! Listen to Butterfly and Do it Like This!! I don’t know much about them but good music!!
- Seventeen – they’re well known for their synchronised dancing with so many members. Some really famous songs are: Ready to Love, and Rock with You. My personal favourite is Pretty U, but not a lot of people have heard it.
- SHINee – this is the ultimate classic group of Kpop. All their songs are great and there’s this one particular one that everyone knows and it’s such a fun song. Most people wouldn’t choose to listen to it normally but it’s such a fun song. It’s called Ring Ding Dong. Another song they’re really famous for is Replay. Taemin, one of the members omggg I’m in love!! Listen to Advice!!!
- The Rose – they’re a K band and ahhhh their songs just touch your hearts so much. Listen to Sorry, and She’s in the Rain. TBH all of their songs are great!! Listen to them alllllllllll!!!
Nowwww… lets move to girl groups 🙂
My favourite girl group would have to be ITZY. Their music, visuals are soooo perfect. My bias is Ryujin hehehe. She’s so pretty and OMG, her shoulder dance in WANNABE is sooooooo cool!!! Let me link it!!!

Here are some other girl groups to check out:
- TWICE – iconic girl group. They have so many songs and they have evolved a lot overtime. Songs to listen to: What is Love?, I Can’t Stop Me, Espresso, Fancy etc. they don’t have bad songs
- Aespa – a new group and they are literally the definition of girl bosses. Their songs take a while to get used to but they’re so good. Listen to Black Mamba, Savage, and Next Level
- (G)-IDLE – this is a superior group!! I love it so much!! Listen to Oh My God, and HWAA!!
- Red Velvet – another classic group. Listen to Psycho!! Hyunjin and other people have covered it hehehe, and Irene and Seulgi from this group have created a subgroup and they made this song called Monster which is sooooooo goooood!!! Another song is Naughty and the choreography is sooooo difficult. They had to learn tutting for 4 months for this chore!
- LOONA – Paint The Town!!!!!! Oh my god!!!! The MV for this song is superior!!!! I fangirl over this one sooooo much!!!! LISTEN TO IT!!! One of the members, Chuu has a song called Heart Attack and ahhhh it makes me so happy!! It’s my go-to feel good song!!
- BOL4 – they are a duo and their songs are so beautiful. If you like sad songs or cute ones, go listen to To My Youth ,and Some but them now!!!
- Mamamoo – another classic. One of the members, Hwasa has a song called Maria, I’m sure you’ve heard it. Anywho.. Listen to gogobebe and Hip!!
- IVE – they’re a new group and so far only has one song called IVE, but it’s soooo good!!!
- Everglow – I don’t know much about them. But I’m obsessed with their songs: Adios, Bon Bon Chocolat, and Dun Dun
- CLC – they’re a disbanded group but their music is ahhh *chef’s kiss*. Listen to Hobgoblin, and Helicopter!!
Now… heheheh we move onto soloists. So, some of them have debuted as part of a group and then later on debuted as a soloist.
My ultimate fav soloist is Jeon Somi. Some of her popular songs are: Dumb Dumb and XOXO
Some more soloists would be:
- Hyuna – she has such a distinct voice!! I’m in love with it!! Listen to PING PONG, it’s her song with her fiancé Dawn!! It’s so goood!! Listen to I’m Not Cool as well
- IU – she is the nation’s little sister!! She is literally my all time favourite idol because of how strong she is. She is truly and inspiration!! Listen to Celebrity, and Lilac
- Chungha – I have no words. Her dancing, vocals, visuals ahhhhhhh!! Listen to Snapping!! It’s literally my feel good song and my go-to song to walk to!!
- Sunmi – Her song You Can’t Sit with Us is literally my anthem!! Like ahhh girl bossssss
- SULLI – She only has one song called GOBLIN and I love the message behind it! It’s such a good song ahhhhhhh
