How to make the most of your Ramadan collab with @Hiddenzzz

Hello everyone! Those of you who are Muslim will you that right now it’s the holy month of Ramadan, a time where we fast from dawn till dusk, abstaining from food and water, giving charity, spending time with family, reading Quran and repenting for our shortcomings to built a better connection with god.

Me and @hiddenzzzhave therefore decided to collab to both give you tips on how to make the most of this Ramadan! Although we are more than halfway through it’s never too late to make a start 🙂

  • Treat this Ramadan as if it were the last one, the things we gain from Ramadan is honestly so beneficial for us, it’s a chance to leave old habits and to create new ones, a time to repent for our sins and go ask Allah for forgiveness. One of the names of Allah is the most merciful, He gives us countless chances to repent, this is one of those chances so take it !!
  • Aim to pray your salahs on time, aswell as do dhikr, and wake up a couple mins earlier so you have time to pray tahajjud before eating suhoor 🙂
  • Read a couple pages of Quran a day, the time you spend on social media can be spent on more important things like getting to know the words Allah send down during Ramadan.
  • Try going taraweeh as much as possible, this year was my first time truly committing to taraweeh, and honestly it makes all the difference, because even if you don’t do much during the day because you feel to tired atleast you’re ending off your night praying connecting with Allah .
  • Pray taraweeh with your friends and family ! 🙂 it makes it all the more better
  • Reach out to people you haven’t spoken to in a while, and make new friends, ask them how their Ramadan is going, and try build a bond 🙂
  • Make food and give it out, you are rewarded for feeding a fasting person. And let’s not forget that one good deed during Ramadan is rewarded 70 times more subhanallah !! Take advantage of this.
  • Give charity! Charity is so so important not only during Ramadan but generally as Muslims. Even if it’s something small like £5 or less, give what you can afford and remember that In a famous hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said, “Charity does not reduce wealth.”
  • Read Islamic books!! Some books that I can recommend are , ‘prayers of the pious’, ‘don’t be sad’ , timeless seeds od advise’, ‘khadijah mother of all nations’.
  • Read upon the Seerah and if you are a women learn about the sahabiyat, people like khadijah (RA) and Aisha (RA), women who are a great example of how a Muslimah should be.
  • Try and dress more modestly if you aren’t already, I completely understand the fact that it is hard but sometimes we have to give up what society tells us is beautiful for what Allah tells us is beautiful, this dunya is temporary after all. Even if it’s a little adjustment every little counts.
  • Don’t overindulge in food, because as you know we get full super fast, which shows how temporary this worldly Satisfaction is. Instead try to break your fast with water and a date , pray your salah then finish of your meal. 🙂

And that is all for todays advise aswell as going over to @hiddenzzz to check out some more tips !! I really hope you enjoyed this and make the most of these tips. Ramadan Mubarak !🤍
