Hey guys ! So today we have something different and special to share ! we’ve decided to collab with @ebullienceblog , and both interview one another so we decided to ask each other a series of 10-11 questions . It was so amazing working with them , their blog is honestly inspiring, but anyway let’s get too it !…..
Q: TELL ME A BIT ABOUT YOURSLEVES
A: Well to begin, our blog consists of five members: Anshala, Jemima, Sarah, Ferdimah and myself, Bianca. We are from India and Sri-Lanka, but we were born and raised in Dubai. We are currently in the 11th grade. We were supposed to do our GCSEs in the summer, but it got cancelled. This revelation left a lot of free time on our hands. We never really envisioned ourselves creating a blog, but we are glad we did.
Q: WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO START A BLOG ?
A: It was March. We were having an English zoom lesson where our teacher was explaining how to write a personal statement for college. As she emphasized the importance of extracurriculars, I realized that I did not partake in any significant extracurriculars activities and that needed to change; and since I had prior knowledge of creating and managing websites, I thought that creating a blog would be the best course of action. I approached my friends about starting a blog and they were ecstatic about the idea. So, after a month of perfecting our website, setting up our Instagram account; on April 30th, 2020, Ebullience was born. At first, we made it to fulfill a quota but then it evolved into something more. We realized that we have less than two years before we graduate and never see each other for a long time. It was a way to stay connected with each other even after we graduated and move away to lead different lives. We wanted something to look back at and be proud of. Ebullience is embodiment of our youth, our hopes and dreams and most importantly: our friendship.
Q: WHAT DO YOU AIM TO ACHIEVE THROUGH YOUR BLOG ?
A: Our main aim initially for this blog was to create a platform where we shared our experiences and grew with our outlook on the world. This was also supposed to help us with our university application since many look for student contributions to society generally and we hoped this blog would provide a verbal brace to those who needed it.
Q: WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT BEING A BLOGGER ?
A: My favourite part is interacting with different bloggers on a daily basis. They are one of the kindest people you will ever meet. Whether it’s replying to comments or tagging one another, this whole community in fact, is so supporting of each other; they genuinely want each other to succeed. This was definitely one of the highlights of managing this blog.
Q: WHAT KIND OF CONTENT DO YOU PRODUCE ON YOUR BLOG ?
A: Our blog content is not limited to a specific category of discussion but just our take on a little bit of everything!!
Q: ARE THERE ANY NEW TOPICS YOU WISH TO DISUCSS ON YOUR BLOG IN THE FUTURE ?
A: Since there are five of us who contribute to the blog, there are a lot of topics we plan to discuss in the future. Some of them include: travel, culture, music, insecurities, books and many more.
Q: YOUR TOP THREE TIPS FOR SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO START BLOGGING ?
A: One would be to engage with other bloggers as much as you can to be noticeable in the community. It’s honestly all about the engagement. The second would be to choose topics you are well researched and passionate about! Remember your platform is accessible to anyone around the world so it’s important to make sure you produce quality content. And lastly, HAVE FUN! You definitely will not go far if you’re blogging for the sake of doing it! Enjoy yourself along the way!
Q: HOW MANY FOLLOWERS AND VIEWS DO YOU AIM TO HAVE ON YOUR SITE IN A YEARS TIME ?
A: On our blog, we hope to reach 100 followers/subscribers. And for our Instagram we hope to have 500-1000 followers. It may seem like a longshot, but we are working hard on creating content worthy of being liked.
Q: WHATS SOMETHING YOU THINK YOUR BLOG HAS THAT OTHERS DON’T ?
A: Well we have more members than other blogs do. But all jokes aside, we all come from different backgrounds and with that, forms a diverse range of opinions which we are all yearning to share.
Q: WHAT OTHER ASPIRATIONS DO YOU HAVE APART FROM BLOGGING ?
A: I’ve always wanted to become a criminal psychologist. It’s evident that not all people are the same and that applies to criminals as well. They are driven by such different aspects and they need to be studied individually. And one way to study that, is to understand why they choose their victims. Why this person? What do they represent? And how can this help in reforming them? There is still so much to uncover. We have barely scratched the surface of the enigma, known as the human mind. Our minds are quite remarkable yet deceptive as they don’t overtly reveal the extent of the power it holds on us.
Well that concludes the end of the interview!!! but please go show them some love and support , they deserve more recognition than they are getting. I will link their Instagram and website down below 🙂
