Staying motivated after having a two week break can be tough because maybe you’ve become accustumed to relaxation, hence now it’s harder to get back into the mentality to do school work and revision. Personally I’ve struggled with this alot, especially if i’ve been quite unproductive during the holidays…. that being said here are some tips to help you back into productivity 🙂

First thing first you need to get the distractions out of your way by identifying and acknowledging the things that are distracted you, that could be friends, tv shows or othert forms of entertainment.
Once that has taken place ensure that you decipline yourself to slowly reduce the amount of hours a day that you spend on these things, hence enabling you more time you more time to fit in a more productive routine.
Then try get into the habit of creating to-do lists at the start of each day, this helps you keep track of what you have and have not done, and once you’ve compleated your tasks for the day, always ensure to treat yourself 🙌. Also don’t forget that it’s okay not to have compleated all the tasks necassary for that day, there’s always tomorrrow, so don’t beat yourseld up over it too much !
Finally slowly establish a continuous routine once you’ve settled back into school, aim for revising/ studying 2-3 additonal hours at home once you’re back from school and 4-5 on the weekends. But always remember to never study more than 8 hours a day, your brain needs to rest !!!!, and if mental health is what’s keeping you from being motivated, perhaps try writing a journal with all your thoughts and feelings of the day.
Here’s a post that i’ve written about mental health previously, feel free to check it out if you need more help: The Battle Between School And Mental Health
